$5k to directly fund and strengthen our youth-focused grief services.
Our community is experiencing profound grief, anxiety, and distress. This is often misdiagnosed as an individual mental health issue, when its true roots are systemic. Traditional support systems can leave folks feeling isolated and pathologized, without addressing the communal wounds or empowering them to be agents of change.
OSE offers a transformative alternative. We provide cohort-based, facilitated spaces where youth can heal together. Our model reframes grief as a systemic experience, uses popular education to build advocacy skills, and focuses on cultivating collective resilience and belonging. We don't just offer coping mechanisms; we foster the development of future change-makers.
